Dr. Michaele Schreyer

Dr. Michaele Schreyer is vice president of the European Movement Germany and co-speaker of the supervisory council of the Heinrich- Böll-Foundation, to which she was elected in 2007. Since 2008 she has been a member of the board of trustees of the Europa University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) as vice chair. From 1999 to 2004 Dr. Schreyer was member of the European Commission. Prior to this the Green Party politician was member of the house of representatives of Berlin and member of Berlin’s senate. She is an economist who gained her doctorate at Berlin’s Free University and as lecturer gives lectures in European politics at various universities.
