WS " Peer Coaching"
Peer coaching is a method for colleagues to support each other on career related topics, such as communication challenges, role conflicts or difficult decisions. Peer coaching is particularly effective because group members support each other to find individualized solutions for a given challenge. Members of groups benefit from learning about each other?s experiences, broaden their perspectives, get social support and enlarge their network.
In this workshop participants will be taught basic communication and coaching skills, which can be used in a peer-coaching group but can also be valuable in other contexts such as supervising students and/or leading a team. The workshop is designed for those who would like to join a peer-coaching group that will be formed during the workshop. It is also open for those who are unsure about joining a peer coaching group but want to learn new communication and coaching skills.
