Fancy a little contest?
In the survey, students from all faculties can compete against each other and show which faculty has the most committed students. Who will manage to provide the highest percentage of responses to the survey?
The interim results will be published regularly here. And the prize? The faculty with the most responses will be awarded a golden duck – at least until the next student survey!
Interim results on 20 January: Physics still in the lead - but all rankings remain hotly contested
In the first interim results on December 10, the STEM faculties were clearly in the lead. A lot has happened since then! While Theology has overtaken everyone from fourth place at the end of December, Physics was narrowly pushed into second place. But the cards were reshuffled at the start of the new year. Physics fought its way back to the top on January 7, and Theology managed to hold on to second place, just ahead of Chemistry. And now? As we enter the final phase of the race, the pace continues to increase. With 15.01%, Chemistry is currently just ahead of Theology at 14.71%. Both highly committed faculties still have a good chance of catching up with Physics und ultimately winning. For now, Physics remains in the lead with 18.22%!
Nearly all faculties were once again able to increase their response rates. The middle rankings also remain exciting: Mathematics/Computer Science stays within striking distance of the podium with 11.52% in fourth place, closely followed by Geosciences and Geography with 10.19% and Biology and Psychology with 9.23%. Agricultural Sciences were on the fast lane in January (8.42%), overtaking both University Medicine (8.28%) and Forestry (8.10%).
There is movement in the lower midfield as well: The Faculty of Philosophy has reached 7.09%, followed by Social Sciences with 6.33% and Law with 5.90%. Currently at the bottom of the ranking is the Faculty of Business and Economics with 4.85% – but even here, there is still room for improvement. So a lot can still happen between now and 1st of February!
