| Details | The topologies of work have changed substantially, not only in the face of the global pandemic. Even before that, fundamental changes can be identified that are closely linked to the formation of a world-spanning technical infrastructure and a global sphere of action. That enables new forms of organization (near- and offshoring, platforms) and a greater degree of an international division of labour (crowd and cloud working, digital platform work etc.), even in areas that were not previously affected. Work is organised more flexibly and can be somehow delocalized, cooperation over distance with locally and globally distributed (team) mates has become normal. New opportunities, risks and challenges arise. |
