„Admission requirements for the German-Russian Double-Degree-Programme „Eastern European History - Global and Regional Perspectives”
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- Achievements in history of at least 51 credits, including achievements in at least two of four epochs (Ancient History, Middle Ages, Early Modern Period, Modern Period) amounting to at least 6 credits each
- Admission is open to students who can demonstrate knowledge ofRussian at level B1 according to the CEFR by the beginning of the 2nd semester; otherwise, participation in the Double Degree Programme is excluded.

Students who can proveEnglish language skills at level B2according to the CEFRby the time they start their mobility (3rd semester) are eligible for admission.
- Sufficient knowledge of English must be demonstrated with standardised or accredited certificates.

In particular, the following serve as proof:
- a) UNIcert®: at least certificate UNIcert® II
- b) NULTE certificates: at least level B2
- c) Cambridge English Scale: min. 160 points
- d) "International English Language Testing System" (IELTS Academic): min. band 6.0
- e) "Test of English as a Foreign Language, internet-based test" (TOEFL iBT): min. 87 points
- f) Global Scale of English (Pearson Academic): at least 59 points
- g) Other proof at level B2 or higher according to GeR
- The successful completion of the test (a-f) must not be more than three years prior to the receipt of the application for admission.

Proof of sufficient knowledge of the English language also includes
- a study or professional stay of at least one year in a country where English is the official language, o
- the successful completion of a course of study in English lasting at least two years.
- If the knowledge according to points 1 and 2 is not yet available at the time of application, the proof can be provided until the beginning of the 2nd or 3rd semester; in this case, admission to the double degree programme is conditional. If the proof of English is not available by the beginning of the 3rd semester, the student will automatically be transferred to the subject programme without the double degree option.
