Hydrogen

Several research groups at the University of Göttingen have been involved in various aspects of a sustainable hydrogen circular economy for some time.
For example, the Smart Mobility Research Group (https://www.uni-goettingen.de/smrg)), located at the Chair of Information Management of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, investigates technology acceptance as well as sustainable design of business models in a hydrogen economy. The University's Agricultural Engineering and Experimental Materials departments are also working on hydrogen for commercial vehicles. Therefore, the University of Göttingen has initiated the Hydrogen Alliance South Lower Saxony together with partners from politics, economy and society, (H2AS, https://www.suedniedersachsenstiftung.de/projekte/wasserstoff-allianz/). The Hydrogen Alliance, led by the SüdniedersachsenStiftung is committed to transform Southern Lower Saxony into a sustainable hydrogen region.
